My First Tag!



My very first tag - ever! Enjoyed playing with the wonderful 'Distress Ink Pads' and fear that I'm now hooked on them. Probably much better for me than chocolate I suppose! Unfortunately (or not as the case may be) my daughter Rebecca decided that she must have this tag and it's now on the notice board in her 'Uni' (I hate that word!) digs. I suppose it's encouraging that she still likes stuff her Mum does! I'll have to post her latest drawing on here and show off - it's amazing.

    It's very beautiful, love how you get that wonderful shade of orange, and the little details of the beads.

      Thanks Gio. Sadly, I may have missed the colour wheel idea slightly as I should have introduced some blue perhaps as that enhances orange I believe! Oh well, it was fun and there is some yellow at the top! I'll try harder next time!

      Hi Julia,
      Gosh didn't know you could do replies to comments! I'm new to all this lark. I only created a blog last March to enable me to comment on other people's blogs!! Didn't do much 'till the Tim Holtz 12 tags of Christmas last year and only came across the Craft Barn blog after seeing their advert on the back of the Scrap 365 magazine. Not visited the shop in ages, long before the take-over so I guess years, bit of a trek for me but still possible. Fancy joining our craft group - no pressure - have a look from my blog.
